Installer Agreement

Version 2026-10-draft-2

Draft for attorney review. Not yet in effect.

Independent business

You're an independent business, not an employee or agent of Ducto. You decide whether to accept each booking, set your own price relative to Ducto's area rate card, and control how you perform the work.

Credentials

You'll keep every license, certification and insurance policy the work requires current and on file. You'll only accept jobs your credentials cover. Ducto pauses bookings automatically when a required credential lapses.

Contractor of record

On jobs you accept, you're the contractor of record. You pull the permits assigned to you, perform the work to code and the manufacturer's instructions, and sign off on refrigerant handling as your EPA certification requires.

Fees and payment

Ducto's fee is 12% of your labor price, withheld when the homeowner pays. Permit fees are reimbursed in full. Payments are released by stage as the homeowner approves the work or the review window passes.

Evidence

You'll upload the photos and test readings requested at each stage, including pressure test, final vacuum and decay test results for refrigerant work, and the issued permits before final sign-off.
